An Adult/Age Group Member can be anyone 18 years or older on December 31 in the year of membership.
A Junior Member can be anyone 16-19 years of age on December 31 in the year of membership, wishing to participate in Sprint or Olympic Distance races alongside adults.
A Youth Member can be anyone 12 to 15 years of age on December 31 in the year of membership, wishing to participate in timed youth races.
A Kids Member must be less than 16 years of age on December 31 and can participate in non-timed Kids of Steel races. We do not have full season membership in this category.
The Directors of Triathlon Nova Scotia may, at their discretion and from time to time, appoint an Honourary Member. An Honourary Member need not pay the membership fee and shall remain a member at the discretion of the Directors.
If you only want to participate in one event, you may become an Associate Member, also called a One-Day Member. This allows you to race on one day for one event – and be covered with liability insurance.
A Club Member is a group of three or more TNS Members forming a training group and completing the required club sanction form on an annual basis.
